After that, he did the Telugu debut movie Seethakoka Chiluka. In 1987, his best performance shown in the movie directed by K. Balachander’s Vanna Kanavugal which is a blockbuster movie at the box office. With this movie, he became a superstar. Besides this, he also made a comedy movie, Ullathai Allitha” in 1996.
He also performed in Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen” in 1998 in which his performance be appreciated by audiences.
