Yvonne Joyce Craig became an American ballet dancer and actress, best known for her role as Batgirl in the 1960s TV series Batman.

Yvonne was born on May 16, 1937, in Taylorville, Illinois. She began her professional career as a ballet dancer but slowly moved in the direction of films and TV. Her exceptional TV series encompasses The Wild Wild West, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and Star Trek.

Yvonne began her acting profession in films like The Young Land, The Gene Krupa Story, and Gidget in advance of making guest appearances in shows like Mr. Lucky and High Time. Some of her earliest TV roles were in an episode of the TV collection Perry Mason: The Case of the Lazy Lover, produced in 1958. She executed along with Neil Hamilton, who played her stepfather.
