Basically, he started her career with Chetan Anand’s movie Haqeeqat, which was released in 1964, after that he did in Dosti followed by Rajshri Production. This movie raised Sanjay Khan’s name with more sparkle.

He got stardom from Ek Phool Do Mali, Intaquam these two movies got blockbuster and raise as a new hero to Bollywood industry.

He did work with her younger brother-Feroz Khan in the movie Upasana, Naagin, and Mela.

Becoming a successful actor he also worked in the field of direction. He made three movies named Chandi Sona, Abdullah, and Kala Dhanda Gorein Log. Abdullah is the most successful film till now and in this movie, he directed Raj Kapoor.

Now in 80s time he turned to works in TV serials, The Sword of Tipu Sultan never forgotten by anybody. After that, he made The Great Maratha and the serial Jai Hanuman.

During the shooting at the set of Tipu Sultan, an incident happened with him and he got injured by fire, admitted to the hospital for surgery, and when he became physically fit, he turned again his works to be started.
