Debut – Mithileya Seetheyaru TV – Bisilu Kudure (1986-87)
Prakash Raj before entering south Indian movies performed a backstage show for which she offered 300 rs. Then he debuts her career in Tamil movie, Duet in 1994 director K. Balachander.
He started her career in Kannada movie as a supporting role and after he critics with his best dialogue delivery. He appeared in 1997 in Tamil movie Iruvar for which he honored with National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He also a successful producer and produce films in 2002 and his first film was the Tamil Dhaya. He got major critics when he appeared in the Tamil film Kanchivaram 2008.
He made his Bollywood debut with Shakti – The Power in 2002. He performed as character Gani Bhai in film Wanted (2009), films Singham (2011) as Jaikant Shikre, Dabangg 2 as Bachcha Singh, Mumbai Mirror (2013) as Shetty, and some others
He starts his directorial debut with the Kannada film Naanu Nanna Kanasu and Tamil film Un Samayal Arayil in 2014 which was re-directed in two different languages.
He is also a Television representer, the hosts Kaun Banega Crorepati Tamil version.
