Mathira made her debut in movies Jadugar, Desi Beat, and Nachdi Kamaal Billo by way of Malkoo and Woh Kaun Thi by using Rizwan-ul-Haq. She got into the spotlight in 2013 when she appeared in the tune video of the music ‘Jhoota’ by the young rapper Arbaz Khan.
