Dwight Clark is the first choice of the 10th spherical, out of Clemson University in the 1979 NFL draft. Clark launched into a stellar career for 49ers wherein he had 506 catches for 6750 yards and forty-eight touchdowns, along with 50 rushing yards. He is the captain and leading his team in the NFL in receptions (60) during the strike-shortened 1982 season and made the Pro Bowl twice in 1981 and 1982 in his nine NFL seasons.
