The Shameless Had a Big Impact
At the 77th Cannes Film Festival, she was honored with the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘The Shameless,’ a movie directed by Constantin Bojanov, the most famous Bulgarian filmmaker. In this movie, she plays a s*x worker, and for her amazing performance, she garnered widespread acclaim.

Education
Anasuya Sengupta completed her education with a Bachelor of Arts. Anasuya, educated at Jadavpur University, initially pursued journalism.
Career
Sengupta played a supporting role in the 2009 movie ‘Madly Bengali’; she also worked as a production designer for the Netflix show ‘Masaba Masaba‘ after her shift to Mumbai in 2013. She is currently living in Goa.

Anasuya, also the FTII student film Sunflower, was the first film to be known, and she won first and third prizes in the last cine section of the festival.
